Almost there? —
In the biggest cities such as Buenos Aires and Mendoza you will most likely have a variety of options where you can work from: restaurants, cafés, co-workings, and hotels. But keep in mind that some remote areas have a very limited service.
Travelers visiting more isolated areas such as Patagonia should be prepared for the possibility of encountering areas with poor or no WiFi service. This lack of connectivity, while contributing to the authenticity of the wilderness experience, means that visitors may need to adjust their expectations regarding digital communication and online access. Embracing the remoteness of these lands and disconnecting from the virtual world can enhance the overall experience, allowing travelers to fully immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring landscapes and untamed beauty that define this remarkable region.
In case you have an emergency during your trip and you require assistance, there will be an emergency line available for you 24/7. This number will be provided in your final confirmation documents.
Any foreign consulate can provide a list of area doctors who speak English. If you get sick, consider asking your hotel concierge to recommend a local doctor. Many hospitals also have walk-in clinics for emergency cases that are not life-threatening; you may not get immediate attention, but you won’t pay the high price of an emergency room visit.
- At the airport: Pick-up at airports will be upon arrival of your flight (That´s why is so important to have the most accurate and update flight information). Our guide or driver will be waiting for you, outside the baggage claim area, you will only have to look for a sign with your name on it.
- For tours and transfers: Pick-up for tours will be from the reception desk/hotel lobby. At the end of your Day by Day document you will find the name and phone number of each of our local representatives and our emergency phone number, in case you can't make contact with out driver/guides.
Keep in mind that if you have booked a shared service, you will be sharing the tour/transfer with more people. This means that the vehicle will stop in different hotels and this can mean a 10-15 minute delay in pick-up time.
Some tours/services do not include transportation to the meeting point. In those cases, you have to make your own way to the meeting point indicated in your final documents.
